I had a chat with my sister today and sent her a link to the blog. She asked how she could be notified when I added a post to the blog, so I'm testing out an email notification add-on.
If you look to the bottom right, you should see a "follow by email" header, and below that a place to enter your email address. If I post, you'll receive an email; if I don't, then no email. At least that's the theory. So now I'm testing it out. I'm curious to see if it's just a notification that's sent or if the entire post comes through in email.
If she has a Google account, she can also subscribe to your blog and read your posts in Reader. That's what I do. :)
