I tell ya, it's a darn good thing we put those chicken wire tops on our garden boxes because these bunnies are everywhere. They're cute as all get out, but they're also very hungry. Too bad they can't be trained to mow the lawn.
So, a couple of things I've learned since moving here:
If it's fall/winter, and an oncoming car is swerving, there's probably a deer in the road.
If it's spring and an oncoming car is swerving, there's probably a deer, a bunny, a turtle, or a snake in the road.
I didn't have my camera with me when we came across the turtle and snake scenarios, but I'm sure it'll happen again.
Now we wait and see what driving hazards summer will bring.
